I am just a regular bloke, with a big heart helping incredible people realise their abilities and who is massively, forever grateful to my teachers past and present.

I am dedicated to providing the most effective ways to help you resolve your problems as quickly and as safely as possible to achieve not only healing but continued growth.

Experience

I established a private practice in 2014 and have successfully worked with numerous categories of psychological problems, many of which have been considered `complex’.

I am an experienced Europe Accredited EMDR Practitioner for adults and child and adolescents on a background of being a Dialectical Behaviour Therapist (DBT) and Advanced Solution Focused Therapist (SFT). I am also a fully Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist (CBT) and have completed comprehensive training in the use of Developmental Needs Meeting Strategies (DNMS)/parts therapy. All of these modalities inform my approach when working with clients.

I have a wealth of experience delivering therapy within both adult services (secondary care teams and primary care) and in child and adolescent specialist community teams.

I worked as a specialist practitioner in the NHS from 2018 to 2025, working condensed hours around my private practice.

Prior to becoming a psychotherapist I earned my stripes in the mental health field working as a registered mental health nurse in both NHS and private sectors including; forensic facilities, acute wards, psychiatric intensive care units, rehabilitation centres, crisis home treatment teams, community mental health teams, drug and alcohol rehabilitation and primary care/GP surgeries.

Costs

Assessment and treatment sessions delivered within normal working hours are £85 per 50 minute session or £120 for 90 minute session.

For assessment or treatment outside of normal working hours price is increased by £10.

Charity Work

Former Trustee for the Trauma Response Network UK (TRN) for a 3 year period. TRN is a Registered Charity who provide free, immediate emergency support and therapy for up-to eight sessions for those who have suffered mass trauma such as terrorism, organized violence, natural disasters and systematic institutional racism.
